More drama

As some of you have already heard, I ended up having a post partum hemorrhage Wednesday night. Scott and I ended up in the ER at 10:30 at night and I was waiting for surgery at 1:30 am. Everything went well and the doctor was able to stop my bleeding. There was talk this morning about more surgery, but luckily that didn’t have to occur. I ended up having to have a blood transfusion due to my loss of blood. I have felt a lot better since the transfusion. I was very lucky to be discharged from the hospital tonight, even after developing an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I was given.

Glad your feeling better, Amelia! We’ll see you guys if everyone feels up to it, and we don’t get two feet of snow! You know how accurate the weather is.

Amy - you deserve an all paid vacation to an island after these last few weeks! I am glad to hear that you are home and feeling better!

Glad to hear that you are home and doing alright. I told Kay last night that Liz, Kevin and Keller are going to stay in Grandville at the Holiday Inn Express next weekend and Mark and I will be at Tim’s. We won’t be coming over, but if you need anything, please let me know. The next time you plan to have babies, have them in the summer so that I am not working and can help. :) Thank you for keeping in touch with all of us in the frozen north.

Thanks everyone ;)

This was Amy’s first attempt at updating everyone. She forgot the words to the story like “civil war” “puddles” “screaming people in ER” hehe

Hey, Amy! Hadn’t heard about the allergy…figures! You can’t just be sick and get better like “normal” folks :) See you soon!

Thanks Scott, I didn’t want anyone to pass out reading the gory details. I also ruined the ER docs shoes, hahaha!!!

I’m surprised there wasn’t pictures to go with the story! Wish we could of seen you guys today, but watching the TV right now I see that 131 is shut down in a couple places and 196 is shut down as well. The blowing is the bad part!
