Tyler’s feedings began again on Sunday at 20 mls and they began increasing the amounts yesterday. Yesterday they increased his feedings by 10 mls every 6 hours until he got back to 45 mls. Today, they are increasing his feedings by 5 mls every 6 hours until he reaches his max amount of 75 mls, which I believe should be by Wednesday evening. He has to take the complete 75 mls by bottle for 48 hours with no problems before he can come home. If everything goes well and there are no more issues the nurse actually stated that is is possible he could come home this weekend. This is the first time anyone has made a “prediction” as to when he may be discharged. She did say she doesn’t like to say that because you never know what could happen. Scott and I are both hesitant to think things could actually go well and there won’t be any glitches to this. Lets keep our fingers crossed that he keeps sucking down his milk and doesn’t decide to have any more difficulties!!

We are hoping that everything is remains positive and you will all be together this weekend. After watching Oprah yesterday and interviewing the octuplets’ grandfather, I think you’ll be just fine! Can you imagine bringing 8 babies home???? Yikes! We’ll be waiting the news of a homecoming. :)
Love,
Aunt Ann
